Before submitting your full scientific paper, we kindly ask authors to complete a pre-selection form that our editorial office will use to evaluate submissions. This initial step is crucial in ensuring that your work is properly reviewed and given the attention it deserves; it also helps fast-track our decision-making, allowing us to identify submissions that align with our journal's focus efficiently.

In this form, please upload your abstract, and make sure it includes all relevant details for our team to make a decision. An acceptable abstract should be clear, concise, and faithfully reflect the work you and your team have done. Remember it is the window to your research, offering the first impression to our editors and potential readers. Therefore, we advise against rushing this part of your submission or leaving it until the last minute. A strong abstract significantly increases your chances of being published and cited.
Additionally, include any other relevant metrics that might help our editors understand the scope and relevance of your research. If you wish to be considered for the "Latinas Writing Science" program, you will be asked a relevant question at the end of the form.
